About Haoxue Chinese
In Chinese schools, the subject for learning Chinese is called “Yuwen” (语文). As the name suggests, Yuwen = language + culture. At Haoxue Chinese, we not only teach children to speak authentic Chinese, but we also help them understand the cultural nuances of the language and how to apply Chinese in their daily lives—connecting language, culture, and real life.
We pride ourselves in the use of a gamified teaching approach that integrates nature (plants and animals), daily life themes, traditional festivals, and a holistic focus on listening, speaking, reading, writing, and cultural learning. This allows children to enjoy learning Chinese, enjoy using Chinese, and develop a genuine appreciation for Chinese culture.
在中国的学校，学生学习中文的书本叫《语文》，顾名思义，语文=语言+文化。在好学中文，我们不仅教授孩子们如何说好正宗的普通话，而且还教授孩子们如何理解别人说的中文，如何运用到自己的生活中，也就是如何把语言、文化和我们的日常生活联系起来。
我们运用游戏化教学把自然（植物+动物）、衣食住行、传统节日等融合到听、说、读、写、文化的教学中，让孩子们能够喜欢学中文，喜欢用中文，喜欢中华文化。
